UNS S38815 / Zecor-Z / 310M

UNS S38815, also known as Zecor-Z or 310M, is a specialized alloy developed to withstand extreme corrosion, particularly in sulfuric acid environments. Known for its durability and resistance to both diluted and concentrated sulfuric acid, UNS S38815 is often used in chemical processing, especially in applications that involve aggressive acids and harsh chemical environments. 

UNS S38815 is a highly corrosion-resistant material specifically engineered for environments where sulfuric acid is present, making it a popular choice in sulfuric acid plants. This alloy has gained prominence due to its durability, long service life, and excellent resistance to corrosion in aggressive acidic environments.

Stainless steel UNS S38815 performs well for "Concentrated Sulfuric Acid" with a mass fraction greater than 70% (ω (B)≥70%).

Compared with UNS S38815, lined valves have price advantages, so lined valves are more widely used.
