ISO System 12944 (2018)

ISO12944 is the industry standard for corrosion protection of steel structures by industrial paint systems. Released in 1998, the standard is written by representatives from key countries and companies which are involved in the protection of steel and to build a mutually beneficial standard. The ISO 12944 standard is a guidance to engineers, specifiers, subcontractors and other parties in the application of coatings to steel. The standard covers parts with components of the standard environment classification, protective paint systems, laboratory test methods and systems and test methods.
