Inconel 625 globe valves are alloy valves capable of withstanding various extreme corrosive environments and high-temperature effects, with a maximum operating temperature of 982℃ (1800℉). The most important features of Inconel 625 globe valves are their high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance.
2.1 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves exhibit excellent corrosion resistance to both oxidizing acids (nitric acid, chromic acid) and reducing acids (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), particularly performing exceptionally well under low- and medium-temperature conditions with dilute hydrochloric acid and moderately concentrated sulfuric acid.
2.2 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves demonstrate superior resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) compared to Incoloy 825, allowing them to withstand long-term corrosion from highly chlorinated media such as seawater, brine, and brines.
2.3 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves are resistant to sulfide and fluoride corrosion, making them suitable for complex corrosive environments such as acidic oil and gas wells and hydrometallurgical processes.
2.4 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves exhibit stable mechanical properties over a wide temperature range.
①Inconel 625 globe valves have a tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa at room temperature in the solution-treated state, with an elongation of ≥30% and excellent toughness.
②Inconel 625 globe valves maintain sufficient strength and creep resistance even at high temperatures up to 982℃, and show no risk of brittle fracture at temperatures down to -253℃.
③Inconel 625 globe valves do not require aging treatment, avoiding performance fluctuations caused by aging processes, and exhibit high batch-to-batch material stability.
2.5 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves possess excellent oxidation resistance and heat resistance.
①Inconel 625 globe valves exhibit good oxidation resistance in static air below 982℃, forming a dense chromium-nickel oxide film on the surface, which resists oxidative corrosion from high-temperature combustion gases.
②Inconel 625 globe valves can withstand instantaneous operating temperatures up to 1090℃.
③Inconel 625 globe valves have good resistance to thermal fatigue and can withstand repeated temperature changes.
2.6 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves exhibit excellent weldability.
Inconel 625 globe valves can be welded using conventional processes such as argon arc welding and electron beam welding. The strength and corrosion resistance of the weld joint are essentially the same as the base material. Furthermore, Inconel 625 globe valves require no heat treatment after welding, making them ideal for large-diameter applications.
2.7 Freeman Valve's Inconel 625 globe valves demonstrate good radiation resistance.
Inconel 625 globe valves exhibit good resistance to neutron and gamma-ray radiation, with minimal performance degradation after irradiation, making them suitable for the radiation environment of the nuclear industry.
Limited resistance to hot corrosion:
In high-temperature gas environments containing sulfur and vanadium (such as marine diesel engine exhaust and coal-fired boiler flue gas), their resistance to hot corrosion is relatively weak, requiring the application of a protective coating (such as an aluminum-chromium coating) for long-term use.
