2. Precautions for using Inconel 718 valves:


2.1 Long-term use at temperatures above 700℃ is not recommended:

The strength and creep performance of Inconel 718 valves rapidly decline at temperatures above 700℃. Therefore, we recommend keeping the long-term stable operating temperature below 650℃.


2.2 Limited Resistance to Strong Oxidation and High-Temperature Sulfidation: Inconel 718 valves exhibit less resistance to sulfidation corrosion than some high-cobalt-nickel-based alloys in sulfur-containing gas environments above 700℃.
