The BEV-Boer Valve Lug High Performance Butterfly Valves provide accurate control of high capacity, moderate pressure drop services. The double offset design provides an approximate equal percentage flow characteristic and facilitates tight class VI shut-off, resilient-seated construction or class IV with metal seals.
The BEV-Boer Valve High Performance valves are available in Soft Seat (Up to200°Cdepending on size and pressure), and Metal Seat (Up to600°C) variants (fire safe on application).

Our Double Offset High Performance Butterfly valve enables the disc to achieve a uniform 360° seal contact – and to move into and break out from the seat with the minimum of wear.
The seat design ensures low seating and breakout torque, resulting in smaller actuators and improved economy when selecting from the various forms of actuation available.
Across the size range, the 8300 Series has a variety of distinct features: it possesses a self-energising seat at low pressure, is pressure energised at high pressure and is self compensating for wear and temperature. Its seat energiser is fully isolated by PTFE envelope, and its cavities are minimised to avoid the ingress of particulates.

Engineered with a bi-directional zero leakage seat with an emphasis on low operating torque, this high performance valve is ideal for many projects.

Stem design: Available in square shaft for easy mounting of actuators, levers and gear operators.
Top flange: Conforms to ISO 5211 for the mounting of actuators, levers and gear operators.
One piece shaft: Maintains disc position.
Blow-out proof shaft: Guarantees shaft containment, and leak mitigation, in the case of extreme failure situations
Shaft pins: Enables a vibration free connection between the shaft and the disc.
Bushings: High performance PTFE bushings provide correct alignment of shaft through the body and reduces torque. Stainless steel reinforcement prevents creep and compression in high temperature applications.
Stem seal: Positive seal in both directions to prevent leakage.
Disc edge: Smooth finished disc edge provides superior seal, reduces valve torque and provides bubble tight shutoff.
Bi-directional body & seat design: Suitable for bi-directional use at full rated pressure.
100% tested: Every valve is fully in VSI’s ISO 9001 facility to ensure performance and reliability. The body is hydrostatically tested to 1.5 times pressure rating. The seat is tested to 1.1 times pressure rating and at 50psi to ANSI Class VI zero leakage. Every valve is serialized and test report is available.

API 609 High Performance Lug Type Butterfly Valve HPBV
Series 63 Model 11 High Performance Butterfly Valve HPBV designs use the pressure in the pipeline to increase the interference between the Seat and the Disc edge to prevent backflow in any direction. HPBV valves are especially designed for use in high pressure pipelines ASME 150LBS to 1500LBS suitable for tougher service and are prone to less wear.
